About the Colorado School of Acting

What is the Colorado School of Acting?
Colorado School of Acting is a Denver acting school, focused primarily on the RECORDED performing arts (film, television, voice over, print work...), with a secondary focus on live performing arts (theatre and vocal performance). Our classes offer students education to enhance their personal knowledge of the acting field.

Who can attend these Acting Classes?
We offer denver acting classes for all levels and all ages - no experience necessary. You will be offered placement in either our Certificate Program, or our Intro Class, depending on your level of commitment and ability. You will be expected to have a positive attitude, attend a weekly class plus career consultations, do homework, and memorize lines outside of class.

When are classes held?
Almost every day! Please visit the ACTING CLASSES page for the schedule. We are on a year-round quarter system, with 11 weeks on, and 2 weeks off before the next quarter begins.

Why is the Colorado School of Acting program different from any other Colorado Acting Class?
We not only teach you to prepare your script and become a character, but also provide you with tools like your on-camera or voice-over demo reel.

How much does the Colorado School of Acting program cost?
  • There is a one-time MATERIALS & ENROLLMENT FEE of $195 which covers your headshots: (hi-res digital files that you can print if you'd like to), plus all your class materials (your notebook with pencils and highlighters, audition log, class notes; your monologues, scenes, and songs; your miniDV tape and all photocopies).
  • Your TUITION will range from $375 to $600 per quarter as you advance through the four levels. If you are paying via cash or check, you will need to pay for the whole quarter up front. If you are paying via credit card (automatic recurring debit), you may break the payments into monthly payments of $125 (Level 1) to $200 (Level 4).
How long do your classes last?
  • You may enroll for one Quarter (11 weeks) at a time for most stand-alone courses including our Intro Class. Some courses, like Voice Over, require a commitment of 6 months, which is the duration of the course.
  • In the Certificate Program, each Level is designed to take one year (4 Quarters) to complete.
